Me and the Kids

This blog is about my life with pit bulls. From rescue history to shelter experiences to sharing stories about my own pit bulls, I hope you’ll enjoy a read or two.

Because there have been many dogs and many people, I’m fuzzy on some details but I’m blogging in the spirit of sharing as much as I know to be the truth. If you have any corrections or additional notes, please don’t hesitate to include your comments. You can email me as well.

A version of my path to here:  I was named after a Red Irish Setter. I rolled around with a litter of Beagle puppies when I was 4, had several poodles because Gramma Ruby was a breeder, 1 Schnauzer, 1 Dachshund, 1 Jack Russell Terrier, 17 foster pit bull puppies, 7 good citizen rescues, founded 2 pit bull rescues, 1 Buffalo Sky, and 1 Chainsaw. Now I volunteer at the Seattle Animal Shelter, and I resist the urge to bring one more pit bull home.
